Rhino from Nepal to Vienna [21. Oct. 2008 - 12:43]
RHINOS
The rhinos were loaded on trucks at the chitwan national park in nepal and transported on a russian iljushin IL76 cargo plane from kathmandu to bratislava airport.
The aircraft was chartered by gradlyn kennel frankfurt,i saw joe wanner for the very last time at the opening of the rhino house, he died in august 2006
thanks to lubos kapko of lindberg bratislava, he did a great job with the ground handling

well and finally thanks to all the people of the vienna zoo schoenbrunn - it was an exciting job for all of us!!
